The artist experiments on the subject of vampirism and "Desmodontinae" is based on the fictive story of the first lesbian vampire in literary history, Carmilla of Karnstein, which caused a scandal and mischief in Styria, Austria – the country of origin of Evamaria Schaller. Mythical scenes of blood sucking are the visual starting material for this piece, where surreal alternates with documentary, moments intersects with movements.
