Since the beginning of Poland in the year 966 it was most of its history a limit of a christian Europe and Mongolian or Turkisch Empire and now again faces the war on its east border.
in this 2023 year we would like to see the dialog between Asia and Europe from a different perspective of Istanbul a metropoly placed on the both - asian an european sides of Bosphorus Strait which connects the Mediterranean and Black see.
Our title I AM ANOTHER YOU, YOU ARE ANOTHER ME is a Quote by Mawlana Jalal-ud-din Rumi as well it is a Maya greating - In Lak’ech Al K’in - I am you, you are me, which is a more simple expression of a deep respect for every creature you encounter, reminding you that everything is inextricably connected.

The feature of this bienniale is to enable artists and curators, who live in a very wide geography and need support and solidarity in terms of communication and cooperation, to meet with a wide audience in various ci<es through joint work.
Its second feature is to overcome political, economic, cultural and ecological negativities in a global context and to act as a peaceful, constructive and conciliatory mediator between the artist's creativity and production and the broad masses.
This event is the result of the collaboration of 14 curators from various countries who wanted to participate in this common goal of dialogue. Paintings, three-dimensional works, photographs, videos and digital works of approximately 140 artists invited by the curators will meet the audience in the magnificent space of the Feshane building.
From modernism to the present day, productions in the field of contemporary art and the ideas and concepts underlying these productions have been created and developed on the ideal of truth. Truth, during the current ideology of Post-truth being a basic demand from all the societies, the artists are creating accordingly for the benefit of the improvement of individual and social life by this ideal.
Metaphors are being used to reach the truth. Today's scientific and technological developments, utilized by the artists, enable these metaphors to be produced in an impressive way. As the general and traditional opinion is that art and culture are important areas of production in terms of "truth" and "reality", this exhibition emphasizes this importance with the intellectual, formal and aesthetic values reflected by the works.
How does the culture and art industry, one of the inevitable main veins of capitalism, and contemporary art and all kinds of visual art, which are the dominant production within this industry, achieve this? Such events provide a convenient opportunity to demonstrate the diversity and impact of this function and purpose in a global context.
This is the opportunity for societies to develop their mental and visual abilities by watching, reading and interpreting contemporary art images in the environments provided by public administrations and offered to art. The naming of the images created by visual, auditory, objective and digital art produced today as Relational Aesthetics focuses precisely on this function. The purpose of reading, understanding and interpreting images is to master the true meanings of the visual language that aims at human well-being and enlightenment today. To understand the purposes and functions of this visual language as well as thoughts, concepts, interpretations and criticisms it contains is strongly active in a global context. Through this global production people are able to reach critical values, participate in discussions and make accurate comments and more important to gain resistance against the existing visual pollution.
