Project Title:Déjà vu Realm Organizer :MOT ARTS Venue:MOT ARTS Artists:Yao Jui-Chung、Liu Chung-Hsing、Tsui Kuang-Yu、Lai Pei、Yu、Chung Shun-Lung、Takahiko Suzuki MOT ARTS launched its first exhibition, “Déjà vu Realm” on March 15th, 2008. The exhibition was curated by Sean C.S. Hu, with the curatorial concept based on the psychological state of “déjà vu”. The curator expressed that as Taiwan goes through intense capitalism, industrialism, urbanization, and democratization, the complex network created has brought us closer to the world. As we are surrounded by omnipresent popular consumer cultures due to increased globalization, it has become apparent how much impact globalization could bring. Especially with the rapid developments with transportation and internet technology, people are both physically and psychological going through shifts in value. We are in the midst of the greatest and most complex global phenomenon in the human history.
