Artists are deeply invested in their own dreams, but I truly believe that we all have the ability to realize our dreams at whatever stage in life – as evidence through passion and dedication in the pursuit of the essential internal or external beauty of the earthly values that frame our existence. This boundless creativity can be considered a talent conferred by the heavens, a sacred gift or the courage to strive. In an optimal situation this gift, whether characterized as the power of love or a love of power, represents the ability of an individual to allow the blessed “light of love” to flow through themselves. At the same time, it also represents simple faith and a willingness to embrace the goodness of life. The fact that artists are also conduits for creativity reflects their physical and emotional connection to the world of children – the desire to have something greater than our limited ego be born through us. IT Park is 20 years old this year. Regardless of who we are, what we have done or will go on to do, we were all once children. Artists often seek to return to an undefined era of “innocence” as part of their creative process – a place where all the conflicts and contradictions inherent in the life experiences of adults gradually disappear or fade into the background, replaced by a shared and invaluable awareness – regardless of one`s opinion of artistic experience or how people turn out, we all have a heart and were all once a tiny baby suckled on our mother`s milk… “Mind is the builder,”we become what our mind dwells upon. The ability of IT Gallery to operate successfully for the last two decades is directly attributable to the hard work of everyone involved. In this place, creative activity has been a product of cosmic energy realized through all of us. As for the trials, tribulations and experiences of the last twenty years, we extend our thanks for each and every one. We have genuinely appreciated every step of the way we have taken together. Finally and not standing on ceremony, I would like to invite artists familiar with the gallery to offer us work for display they believe reflects the true spirit of IT Park`s twentieth anniversary birthday.
